In the year 21XX, when everything
is all right, something
terrible must always happen... In X4, it's all begin with the mysterious attack on the Sky Lagoon witch fall on Earth,
causing the destruction of an entire city. When X saw the colonel of the repliforce in the destroyed city, He suspected him
and the repliforce to be the one who started the attack. Refusing to drop is weapon because he's been juge Maverick without
specification, the colonel leave the city and tell the General the situation.
When the General was telling to his cityzen
of repliforce that the human have juge them as Maverick, he told them his idea. This is how the story begin: with the construction
of a new Utopia, a world for only reploids in space.
In this new mission: stopping the coup of the repliforce, X was
followed by a strange reploid named Double who was giving him tips. Later, Double reveal who he really his... A big evil maverick
espion in the command of the same evil maverick boss: Sigma.
After the colonel and Double left no choice to X but to
destroyed them, he have to battle the General, Supreme commander of the repliforce. X won of course but after the battle,
the General, to big to completly destroyed, warned X that the weapon of the Utopia is controled by somebody else. You know
who that "somebody" is, Sigma.
Sigma reveal that he was responsible for all the trouble that have been caused.
The Sky Lagoon to the space colony Utopia witch makes X mad. A great battle have been engaged with the victory of our
blue hero. Somehow Sigma laught and with his last word, he say that the weapon is already aimed at earth and nothing can stop
it.
It was all hopes lost until the General decided to sacrifice himself by blocking the weapon with his body. So that
how the space colony have been destroyed.
While on is way back to earth, X remind all the battle he done witch make
him think on something... What if he become a maverick, he ask Zero when this one call him. Zero told him to not be thinking
or asking things like that and when he was about to leave, X yell at him telling that he was serious. Zero say nothing, then
X tell him that is have to take care of him if he become a maverick. Zero say nothing for a few second and told X to not be
ridiculous and to hurry back, then he left X.
The last word of X was: Promess me.... Zero
Then he boost his ship
to he earth.

and recued his friend Iris who was hurt. When Zero saw the colonel of the repliforce in the destroyed city, they chat a little
like long time no see friends but Zero suspected him and the repliforce to be the one who started the attack. Refusing to
drop is weapon because he's been juge Maverick without specification, the colonel leave the city and tell the General the
situation.
When the General was telling to his cityzen of repliforce that the human have juge them as Maverick, he

this new mission: stopping the coup of the repliforce, Zero was in compagne of Iris: the colonel little sister. Even if she
was on the side of her brother for the space colony, she was trying her best to stop her brother and Zero fighting because
she hate see these two fight. Zero was forced to fight the colonel someday witch he won the battle. Iris was really sad for
the lost of her big brother, so she decided to avenged him by fighting Zero. She transformed into a big reploid bigger than
her brother. That didn't stop Zero, who won againts her. But that fight cost Iris life which make Zero really sad and mad.
Then
goes the battle between him and the General. Telling the General that it was because of him that many lives and Iris are gone,
the General didn't care about that because independance has always a big price to pay. So the price has been pay with the
lives of all the reploids who died in battle. Zero didn't buy that and almost destroyed completly the General who still has
half of is body.
But then the colony shake... the General tell Zero that the weapon of the Utopia is controled by somebody
else. You know who it is don't you ?! The Maverick boss: Sigma.
Sigma have always plan for Zero: to make him
return to his trueself, a Maverick.
That why he remind Zero the battle they've done in the past when he was once the Maverick
Hunter leader and Zero a maverick.
Even with that lost memorie revealed, Zero didn't understand what Sigma mean by telling
him this.
So they engage the final part of the battle they once begin a long time ago. With the victory of Zero, Sigma
say is last words...the weapon is aimed at Earth and nothing can stop it now.
With all hopes lost, the General decided
to sacrificed himself by blocking the weapon with is body. That's how the space colony have been destroyed.
While on
his way back to earth, Zero dream again how he has been created and think about Iris. Sad of Iris death, Zero tell himself
that maybe the Mavericks aren't all that Maverick at all.
Then he boost his ship toward the earth.
